If you're looking to tame a rare lion pet, you can head over to Twilight Highlands and patrol around the 5 locations as shown on the map screenshot below this post. The model of this pet looks like the alliance lion mount that is available if you're exalted to a level 25 guild. He is believed to be on an 8-12 respawn timer, so hunting Sambas pose quite a challenge for any hunters out there.

I cleared my cache last night and waited for Sambas for a few hours and there was no sign of this beast anywhere. So, I decided to fly around this morning before heading out from my hotel room. Upon reaching the last spawn point at far south west of the map, my NPC scan beeped and I found him wandering around the woods there. I named him Marauder and will be proud to bring him around town starting from now on.
